MIGNEX – Aligning Migration Management and the Migration–Development Nexus – was a five-year research project (2018–2023) aimed at generating new knowledge on migration, development, and policy. The project brought together researchers from nine institutions across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Its overarching objective was to contribute to more effective and coherent migration management by advancing evidence-based understanding of the complex linkages between development and migration.
